Zealand came to us after she added herself to a street cat colony in Phoenix and the colony caretaker networking her and Wellington for our rescue to take in.
If you are looking for a cat who brings charm, affection and just the right amount of sass to your home, Zealand might be your gal. She is a total attention-seeker who loves being near her people. She is happiest when she’s curled up in you lap – just purring away. She enjoys being brushed and she will lean right into it.
She’s obsessed with cozy hut beds and will claim any soft cave like spot as her personal kingdom.
In her current foster home, she gets along with other cats. Though she is not afraid to show a little sass when she needs her space.
She’d thrive in a home that appreciates a cat with both sweetness and spirit. Whether you already have a feline companion or you’re looking for your first, she’s adaptable and ready to bond.
She’s affectionate without being clingy, playful without being chaotic, and full of personality. She is the cat that will make you laugh, keep you company, and warm your lap.
